A Family Update From Rick & Bev

Our guests are like family to us. We love catching up with you all on your visits to the Inn but we also like to keep you updated throughout the year, even when we don’t get to see you in Kennebunkport. With that in mind, here is a little family update from us.

Dana, Eric, and their daughters

Ridley, Adeline, and Aubrey

Dana and Eric live in Charlottesville, VA with their three daughters. Ridley is the newborn and arrived this past July. Adeline is 20 months old and Aubrey is 3 years old. So, Dana and Eric have their hands full with three under three! Eric is a terrific dad and husband, very patient and loving. Dana and Eric just celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on Labor Day Weekend. They moved to Charlottesville from Springboro, OH last year when Eric secured a new IT job. They are enjoying their new home and Dana is involved in a Mom’s group which has lots of young mothers!

Stacia and David, Stacia and Bev

Stacia cutting Bev’s hair

Stacia is living in Margate, FL and is working as a barber in Pompano Beach. This is a picture of her cutting Bev’s hair when we were visiting Stacia in Florida in May. She is dating a very fine fellow and there are indications there may be an engagement in the near future. We introduced him to the fun things to do in the summer, bicycling and canoeing. A friend took them lobstering as well! I think if it weren’t for the winters they might move here!

Rick and Bev

This is a recent photo of us. We’ve had a busy year at the Inn, but have managed to get away for a few family trips. We finished renovating the Loft and opened it Valentine’s weekend. After a very demanding winter with cold, snow and construction in the Loft, for Bev’s birthday in February, we took a short vacation to an all-inclusive resort in Cancun. We did nothing but sleep, eat and relax! Additionally, we made a trip to Florida in May to visit Stacia and also visited Dana’s family in Charlotteville three times, once in March, again in June, then again in late July through early August for the birth of our granddaughter Ridley. We’re happy to be back at the Inn for the glorious fall season and we hope to see you and catch up in person soon!

Your Innkeepers,

Rick & Bev
