Fun For Foodies Vacations

Lobster boat cruise.
  • Hour and a half hour scenic cruise on lobster boat Rugosa.
  • See Maine’s rocky coast, Pumpkin Island’s harbor seals, beautiful
         “summer cottages” and the Bush (41) compound.
  • Experience a lobster-harvesting demonstration.
  • Lobster Dinner for 2 at President Bush’s (41) favorite seafood
         restaurant, Mabel’s Lobster Claw.

Package Details:

The total package price for this Lobster Lovers Package is $119 per couple and includes all taxes and gratuities. This activity is available from Memorial Day (late May) to Columbus Day (early Oct), weather permitting and requires a 24 hour advance reservation. Both the Scenic Cruise and Mabel’s Lobster Claw Restaurant are within walking distance of the inn.

Dinner includes 2 salads, 2 one and a quarter lb. lobsters, and fries. Includes tax and gratuity.

Portland Head Light part of the Lighthouse Tour

Spend an afternoon on a self-guided tour of Maine's beautiful South Coast visiting lighthouses. See the following lighthouses:

Federal Jack's is the Home of "Shipyard Ale"

Spend an afternoon learning how world-class ales are made.

  •  The cost is $25 per individual or $40 per couple. Guests may select their appetizer from the menu. This adventure is available year-round, daily from 3-5pm, with 24 hour notice. Participants must be 21+ years old and ID's will be required of guests that appear to be under 30 years old. Federal Jack's Brew Pub and Brewery is located within walking distance to the inn.
