Winter is Kennebunkport's Season of Serenity
Winter is Kennebunkport's quiet season and many believe it is the best season. During the wintry season, visitors to this historic seaside town can experience the true flavor of Maine, "The Way Life Should Be," unhurried, peaceful, tranquil.
Wooded paths, windswept sandy beaches, and dramatic coastline, combined with 17th and 18th century village architecture create a vibrant picture of Kennebunkport during the winter season. Dock Square in Kennebunkport village is just three blocks from the Captain Lord Mansion. This village center hosts numerous delightful boutiques; each filled with curios and handcrafted treasures. Shop owners are pleased to spend time with visitors during this less hurried season.
Maine is an antique shopper's haven and winter is an ideal time to scout out that rare and valuable find. Many antique dealers and collectors stay open throughout the winter, and some even offer appointment times for visitor to view their collections in person.

Serenity Season Rates are valid mid-week November and December, except the holiday week between Christmas and New Year. Serenity Season Rates are also valid January 1, 2003 to May 22, 2003 and mid-week the entire month of June, 2003
Guests can extend their "Serenity Season" (January through May only) weekend getaway for a 3rd night (Sunday or Thursday) at a 50% discount from the regular quiet season mid-week rates.
