Bev and I encourage you to join restaurateur David Turin at his newest restaurant, Davids, situated in The Boathouse, a newly constructed hotel property located where the Landing Restaurant used to be. This restaurant features contemporary cuisine in a beautiful waterside location. Chef Turin has put a creative twist on classic coastal menu items. His restaurant opened in the spring and we have had great reports from Captain Lord Mansion and Captain’s Garden House guests all season.
Bandaloop in Kennebunkport is owned and operated by Chef Scott Lee. This boutique-style restaurant is known for its use of organic and local foods, many vegetarian and vegan options, and an array of appetizers, entrees, and sauces to choose from. Chef Lee creates everything in house, from the organic bread and sauces straight through to the desserts. From flour and salt to free range chicken and all natural organic beef, he demands only the highest quality organic ingredients, for their flavors as well as their lessened impact on the environment. Bev and I love this restaurant; one of my favorite dishes is a wilted-spinach salad with chicken or shrimp and a delicious balsamic dressing.
